Kodomo no Hi

There is at least one day on the calendar for you to celebrate.
May 5th is Kodomo no Hi which is Boys Day. Kites are the symbols for this day.

Yes boys are doted on on this day but don't worry the girls have their turn on March 3rd (Hina Matsuri). Of course there is a Mother's Day and a Father's Day but you might not know that there is also a day to remember Elderly Folks. This day is called Keiro no Hi.
