Living in Japan : Welcome to all those who are new in Japan and those who are thinking about coming!

Light Hiking

It's my favourite time of the year in Japan. September in Osaka is the turning point between summer and autumn (fall). The weather makes you feel like taking a walk...so here goes.

Last weekend my friend Lincoln and his family invited us out to do some hiking. We decided to go somewhere handy and because we both have kids he suggested a nice, easy going hiking course in Kisaichi.

Kisaichi is not so far from the heart of Osaka. Take the Keihan line to Hirakata station and change to platform 6. Kisaichi is the final stop.

Walk straight out of the station and then take the first road on the left. It will take you to the start of the hike.

Don't forget to take your insect repellent, sun block and insect book so you can educate yourself on the mysterious bug life in Japan.

It was a great day, and a lot of fun for all. I only have one regret; I forgot to take my camera. However, I did manage to take this flower shot before my cell phone battery died on me.

Just Beautiful
