Remember this old saying? If you are intending to blend in, and not cause too much damage here, then you need to be aware of some of the things that are �edone�f and �enot done�f in Japan.

Sometimes foreigners forget that they are representing their country when they are here. I know it sounds a little over the top but the truth is Japanese people may think your behaviour reflects the overall behaviour of the people in your country.

So my advice is treat people the way you would like to be treated and be aware of simple manners here. You don�ft have to agree with everything Japanese but being conscious of the Japanese way of thinking will stop you from treading on other peoples toes.
